China Daily报道这篇新闻时描述测量队是Chinese surveying team。此行主要目的是remeasure the height of the worlds highest peak重新测量世界最高峰的高度。
因此测量在报道中分别用了两个词：survey和measure。那他们有什么区别呢？今天我们就来讨论讨论吧！
Measure
Measure= to get accurate measurements of something.measurement is a precise evaluation based on standard measuring tools such as a ruler, meter stick, weight scale, etc.
Measure=为了获得对某物的精确测量。测量是基于标准测量工具的精确评估，如尺子、仪表尺、体重秤等。
Measure the length and width of the gap. 测量一下这条缝隙的长与宽。Measure the full width of the window. 测量一下窗户的全宽。
