Other 和 another 都可以表示 an alternative 可替代的另一个，或 an additional extra 额外的那个东西，但从语法角度来讲，它们的用法却不同。
问题中所提到的其它三个词 others、the others 和 any other 的意思都和 other 相近。
那么咱们就来先说说 other 的意思和用法。
Other可以表示 alternative 可替代的，或 different 不同的。Other 是一个限定词，所以应该被用在复数名词前或不可数名词前。作限定词使用的时候，other 没有复数形式。咱们先来听两个例句。

I like his music, but other artists are better.
The fussy child didnt eat oranges but liked other fruit.

Other 还可以表示 additional 额外的。同样，表达这层意思的时候，它也是限定词，只能用在复数名词前或不可数名词前，other 本身也不能是复数。来听一个用 other 表示 额外的 意思。

The first meal is free, but other meals can be bought if you are still hungry.

如果需要在 other 后面加一个单数名词，那么必须要在 other 前加上一个限定词，比如 my 我的。这个用法不改变 other 的意思，它仍表示 alternative 或 additional。比如下面例句中提到的 my other car 我的另一辆车。

下面来讲any other。Any 也是一个限定词，常用于疑问句和否定句当中。在一组事物中做选择的时候，any 通常意味着 it doesn’t matter 选哪个并不重要。将 any 的这层意思和 other 相结合，就得到了 It doesn’t matter which alternative or additional。也就是哪种代替选择并不重要。来听两个例句，例句中用 any other 和 any others 来表示 任何选择。

Is there any other food? Im still hungry.
I dont like this t-shirt. Do you have any others?

注意，我们不能把 any 直接和 the other(s) 连用。它们中间需要加介词 of。
