My hands burst
As I write these lines
The pen writes on
As my tongue fails
Mere words creep out onto the page
But my soul is a raging fire
Once alone did I desire her
Once alone - over and over
From my heart I banished her
But I m burnt deep by her flame
These words remain silent
My mouth will not give them
